Medical science  is advancing at a rapid  pace , more so in the field of cardiology.  As a specialist in clinical cardiology with experience of teaching and  treating vast number of cardiac patients for over two decades ,  I felt  a need for  proper,  genuine cardiology information centre for our patients.

With number of investigation and imaging modalities  growing in a exponential  fashion it is common for patients to get confronted with volumes  clinical  information with  differing opinions.

Since starting my  blog www.drsvenkatesan.wordpress.com in 2008 , I have been getting  many e-mails  requesting cardiology  opinions,  which I have been responding free . Now ,  I thought it is fair to bring in a nominal fee as I could not reply all  of them .

I have proposed to charge 500 INR/ 10 US $  for the expert opinion from January 2012.

Thus came this concept of  www.onlineheartcare.co.in  . This portal  has primary  purpose  of providing  genuine cardiology opinion for deserving  patients. This portal is not run with the aim of profit making .

I propose to charge Rs 500 INR/10 US $ per consultation for maintaining and logistic purposes.

Waiver of this fee may also be   considered in truly deserving patients.
